Station Attributes

Purpose

Use the Station Attributes form to assign a Class of Service, Class of Restriction, Intercept Number, and Default Account Code number to each station in the system. This form uses Range programming.

NOTE: When an IP Phone is added to the system as a Userless Device using the Automatic DN Selection registration method, the system auto-configures various fields in this form. See Registering and Auto-provisioning Multiline IP Telephones without a DN for details. You can change these configuration values after the device is registered.

The Class of Restriction numbers defined in this form are referenced by the Class of Restriction Groups form.

A station may have a different Class of Service and/or Class of Restriction for each mode of service: Day, Night 1, and Night 2.

Enter a code from the Default Account Codes form.

Zone Assignment Method

Select the Zone Assignment method: Default or Manual. When Default is selected, the Zone ID doesn't have to be entered because the zone of the MiVoice Business system to which the set is registered is used.

If you selected Manual, you must enter the Zone ID in the Zone ID field. The Zone ID information can also be configured in the User and Services Configuration form.

NOTE: Always use Manual if this form is shared with a 3300 ICP Release 7.0 system.

Zone ID

Enter the Zone ID in the range 1 to 999 for the associated IP device DN. Compression is not applicable to non-IP devices.

SIP Device Capabilities

The number of the SIP Device Capabilities form that corresponds to this station. Non-SIP devices ignore this value.
